Adriance Heirloom Chairs are handmade to last for generations with the time-honored construction method of authentic Mortise & Tenon Joinery. Chair rails are tenoned into front legs and through back posts and wedged for extra longevity. The slipseat frame fits neatly inside the seat rails and is generously padded with seven layers of upholstery material— burlap web, deck web, deck pad, high comfort foam, dense pad, muslin and covered with YOUR FABRIC. The bottom is covered with black fabric. Adriance signed heirlooms are hand-finished with several coats of water-resistant tung oil yacht varnish, then waxed and hand-rubbed to a lustrous satin patina, requiring no upkeep.
