Hand-finished with water-resistant varnish and waxed to a satin patina.

The slipseat frame fits neatly inside the seat rails and is generously padded with seven layers of upholstery material— burlap web, deck web, deck pad, high comfort foam, dense pad, muslin covered blue star fabric. The bottom is covered with black fabric.
